the main problems are as i see them: the authenticity of the purveyed kopi-luwak beans and of course their proper cleaning, roasting, packaging, and transport. the first matter is, clearly, the primary one–and perhaps unsolvable: none of the sources or authenticating organizations, states and testing bodies appear reliable in the least–especially any assurances out of the United States of America, whether governmental or commercial. perhaps, it will be relatively–and i mean only relatively–safer to deal directly with an Indonesian agency carrying the approval of the government there–it is, after all, an Islamic country and has credibility as being backed up by the moral precepts of the religion having the greatest probity. The Phillippines are no better than Americans by whom they have been utterly corrupted.
wish we had direct Canadian buyers, carrying our government’s seal of approval, sourcing the beans in the country of origin.

I personally can accepted all command about civet coffee, as my experience wild and caged civet coffee have a different about the taste,I also ever bought from many people’s who collected civet coffee beans, but only a few are really collected wild civet coffee beans from coffee plantation and surrounding the plantation, I spend a year for just can start to run this business, because I want it is a real wild civet coffee.
Due to very small volume amount about 25 kgs a month and it’s impossible that I established one company, I only sell to coffee lover, I roasted it in light,medium,medium dark roasted beans, pack by air valve packaging, cost USD 50 per 100 grams without delivery charges.
To enjoy a cup of coffee,first to know the taste of the coffee characteristic as the coffee body,creamy, flavor, aroma, unusual sweetness, sweet,after taste and the acidity depand of the type of roasting, and at last if you want to enjoy the it all you must have the equipment to make a cup of good taste coffee, by using coffee maker :siphon , mokka pot, or coffee machine.

Yes, indeed so many suppliers here in Indonesia claiming that they have original Civet Coffee (Kopi Luwak), but the best deal you could have is to fly here to Indonesia(Sumatra Java, Bali) for a week or two, make some arrangements with them and see it with your very own eyes, at least once. Afterward, it’s up to you whether you could trust them for the next stages. Some of them are collectors who really collect from the farmers surrounding of their villages(coffee areas/villages that you can easily find here in Indonesia), and mostly it’s really from the wild.
