Huge power outage in Vancouver

This means a lot of people are staying at home and another bad week for coffee shops still fighting the boil water advisory.

Yup, freaking rotten. Our power got knocked out at 8:30 last night when a tree fell on a power line just down the street. We just got it back at 11 am this morning. Brrrr was the house ever cold!
About them coffee shops though – I did my part. Since we couldn’t cook anything this morning due to the power outage, we braved the roads to Starbucks for a latte and scone! It seemed that many others had the same idea.
